Since high school, Jake had dreams of getting into either physical therapy or occupational therapy because he wanted to make people feel good about themselves. He became one of the youngest EMTs in NJ at the age of 16. He moved to NC in January of ’96 and transferred his certifications here. After 10 years on an ambulance and on disaster teams, Jake decided that it was time to move on. Through persuasion from friends and family, he decided to pursue massage therapy, attending Natural Touch School of Massage in Greensboro, with the intention of being the best. His impressive grades/certification scores, as well as high marks in peer critique, allowed him to accomplish just that. Jake accepted his position with Avanti Salon & Spa in 2007, and now feels he is living his destiny. He specializes in Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, Orthopedic, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Rehabilitation.
